Anime NYC Announces August 2024 Dates

Anime NYC announced today, ahead of the 2023 event, that the convention will move from its previous November timeframe to summer next year, with August 23-25, 2024 set as next year's dates. In a statement on Twitter , a desire to expand the convention to the complete Jacob Javits Center space was one reason for the change, adding the date change has been in the planning stages for a few years. The announcement is found below. The statement adds the convention plans to offer more panel room space for expanded screenings, workshops, and activities as part of the move to August and overall expansion in the Javits center. As a result of the changes, ticket sales will open on December 5. Anime NYC 2023 will be held this weekend from November 17-19.
