Voice Actor Unit Earphones Posts 8th Anniversary Message Video with English Subtitles

 

The official YouTube channel for three-member voice actress unit Earphones, consisting of Marika Kouno (Silence Suzuka in Uma Musume Pretty Derby), Rie Takahashi (Megumin in KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!), and Yuki Nagaku (Yukana Yame in My First Girlfriend Is a Gal), posted a special message video with English subtitles to celebrate their eighth anniversary.

 

Earphones was originally formed for the TV anime adaptation of Masumi Asano and Kenjiro Hata's voice actor-themed four-panel doujin manga Seiyu's Life! and released their debut single "Mimi no Naka he" on June 18, 2015. Even after the anime ended, they have kept their activities on their own, and have released six CD singles and three original albums.

Also in the video, they announced that a special talk event "Earphones 8th Anniversary Special Party" is set to be held at Nissho Hall in Tokyo on August 27, 2023. The event will include talks related to their eighth anniversary and a segment that can only be seen here. In addition, commemorative goods are also being planned. Pre-orders for the 6,050-yen tickets for the event will be accepted on ePlus from June 19 to July 2, then general sales will follow on July 22.
