Reign of the Seven Spellblades TV Anime Sets July 7 Premiere with New Visual, Trailer

When it reigns, it pours. Upcoming fantasy anime Reign of the Seven Spellblades unveiled a brand-new key visual and trailer with a flourish today, revealing that the series is bound for a July 7 at 24:30 JST (effectively July 8 at 0:30) premiere.

 

It was also revealed that "Kenka" by Yumemi Kujira feat. Mimizuku & Fukuro will serve as the anime's opening theme song, alongside "Aimu" by Yumemi Kujira feat. Tsumugishachi (from Kimi no Ne) for the ending theme.

Based on the light novels by Bokuto Uno and Ruria Miyuki, Reign of the Seven Spellblades is being directed by Masato Matsune (CHRONOS RULER) at studio J.C.STAFF, with series composition by Shogo Yasukawa (Ayakashi Triangle), character designs by Takehiro Suwa (Combatants Will Be Dispatched!) and music by Kujira Yumemi (In the Land of Leadale).

 

Yen Press, which publishes the light novels' official English version, describes the first volume as such:
