EDENS ZERO TV Anime Enlists Tani Yuuki for New Opening Theme

With the second season of the EDENS ZERO TV anime underway, the official Twitter account for the series revealed last night that Tani Yuuki will be taking over the duties of performing the opening theme song later in the series. His song is titled “Kaibutsu.”

 

 

 

 

The single will be released digitally on June 28 while the physical release is set for July 26.

The staff and cast from the first season of EDENS ZERO return for the second season at J.C. Staff other than the director of the series Yushi Suzuki who passed away before the final episodes of the first season aired. Suzuki is succeeded by Tokyo Ghoul: re director Toshinori Watanabe.

 

Netflix streamed the first season of the series worldwide, with Crunchyroll currently streaming the second season as it airs, describing the series as such:

 

Cosmic Era year X492… A time when countless people venture into space to travel between stars. Rebecca is a "B-cuber" online video streamer who comes across Shiki, a young boy that can control gravity, on the robot-inhabited planet Granbell. Shiki follows the teachings of his foster guardian, the robot "Demon King" Ziggy, and treasures his friends over everything..
