VA Unit SoundOrion to Release Major Debut Single "Angel Ladder" in May

 

 

Japanese record company Nippon Columbia has announced that SoundOrion (pronounced San-Do-Ri-On), a unit consisting of four anime voice actresses belonging to Stardust Promotion's voice actor department, will release their major debut single "Angel Ladder" on May 17, 2023.

 

The four members -  Honoka Kuroki, Ami Komine, Momoyo Koyama, and Asuka Shioiri - won the first auditions with 5,000 participants for the department in 2017, then started their unit activities along with their individual voice acting activities. Their long-awaited major debut was announced in December 2022.

The song title "Angel Ladder" means "the sight of sunlight shining through the clouds." With lyrics by Genki Mizuno (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- opening theme) and composition/arrangement by Shuhei Mutsuki (SPY x FAMILY insert song), it becomes a spectacular debut song that heads toward the bright future that awaits them.
