Official HIGE DANdism Postpones Live Performances Due to Vocalist Health Concerns
Four-man Japanese pop group Official HIGE DANdism has been performing together since 2012, but anime fans will likely know them for their more recent work. The group has supplied tunes for SPY x FAMILY, Tokyo Revengers and last year's Doraemon movie Nobita's Little Star Wars, to name a few.
Today, the group announced on their website that their next few upcoming shows will be cancelled for health reasons. Specifically, Satoshi Fujihara will be suspending activities as he is treated for vocal cord polyps. The vocalist and pianist is also the group's primary composer and lyricist.
Fujihara reveals in the announcement that his difficulties began sometime last year. He apologizes for the upcoming cancelled performances, adding that taking this time off for treatment will enable him to continue with the band in the long run.

Refunds are now being offered for the band's next two scheduled performances: their April 13 appeance in the "UVERworld versus" concert series, and their two-day stint at SUMMER SONIC 2023 on August 19-20.
You can follow the group's upcoming activities on the Official HIGE DANdism Website. We know we're not alone in wishing Fujihara a restful hiatus and a speedy recovery.
