Movie animated film paid homage to its adaptation predecessors by recreating the classic theme tune for a spoof plumbing service commercial, which you can check out below, and website complete with testimonials and contact details.

The film's cast list includes Chris Pratt as the titular plumber and one-half of the Mario Bros. with Jack Black as Bowser, and Charlie Day as Luigi. The rest of the cast is rounded out with Anya-Taylor Joy as Princess Peach, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.

 

The film is slated to be released on April 7, 2023 in the US and April 28, 2023 in Japan.
