Japanese singer-songwriter Tatsuya Kitani announced today that his new song "Scar," the opening theme for the TV anime Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, will be released digitally first on October 18, then its CD single will be available on November 23.
Kitani is also a support bassist for the rock duo Yorushika and a vocaloid song producer under the name Konnichiwa Tanita-san. His second single song "Seijya no Koushin" was used as the opening theme for the summer 2021 TV anime The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace.
The analog jacket of the first press limited edition of the single features a newly-drawn special illustration of the anime's protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki.
