Anime Singer Konomi Suzuki Tests Positive for COVID-19 Postponing Heaven Burns Red Event
Anime song performer Konomi Suzuki, who is best known for singing opening theme songs for Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, WATAMOTE, No Game No Life and many more, was announced last night to have tested positive for COVID-19. Due to this, an event for Heaven Burns Red that was set to happen today was announced to be postponed until further notice.

The above statement reveals that Konomi Suzuki came down with a sore throat on October 9 and underwent a PCR test at a medical institution on the same day that came back with a positive result. She's currently recuperating at her home under the watch of the local health center and her doctor. Suzuki had previously gone on hiatus from her singing work to undergo vocal node surgery.

Konomi Suzuki was set to perform at the Heaven Burns Red event today where she acts as the singing voice for Karen Asakura in the mobile game from KEY. The organizers noted that the event is not canceled, only postponed and the tickets for what would have been today's event at ZEPP Haneda is transferable to the future event, though when will be is yet to be announced. Refunds are also available for those who wish.
