The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made isn't monkeying around when it comes to promoting its upcoming sequel season, as the isekai fantasy series unleashed a new key visual and cast member to commemorate World Gorilla Day today.

Following the addition of Miyuki Sawashiro (Daki in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Destra in the new season, Tomokazu Sugita (Rudeus in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) was announced as the voice of Vitor. A character visual for the "perverted gentleman" was released alongside two for Genpel and Utis (character romanizations unconfirmed), whose casting will be revealed at a later date.

Based on the light novels by Miku and U35, The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made Season 1 director Yoshiaki Okumura will now act as Chief Director, with Fukase Shigeru acting as Director. Mitsuki Iroha and Hayashi Nobuhide will be in charge of character designs, Ichikawa Gigaemon returning to handle series composition and script, and HOTLINE taking sole animation production credits (as feel. and Children's Playground Entertainment were credited for Season 1).
