Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War

 

During a premiere event for the first two episodes of the upcoming Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War TV anime tonight in Japan, it was revealed that the series will begin broadcasting on October 10 on TV Tokyo. Oricon reports that it'll be a four-season run, though not consecutively. Furthermore, the artists for the opening and ending themes were announced alongside more cast members.

 

 

 

Tatsuya Kitani will be performing the opening theme song "Scar" while Hiroyuki Sawano-produced singer SennaRin will be performing the ending theme song "Saihatte (The Furtherest End)," which is set to get an advanced release on October 18

Joining the cast of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be:

 

  • KENN (Penema in Platinum End) as Berenice Gabrielli
  • Takahiro Fujiwara (Pippin in Berserk: The Golden Age Arc) as Jerome Guizbatt
  • Wataru Komada (Yutaka Gotanda in Tribe Nine) as Asguiaro Ebern
  • Daiki Hamano (Matheus Johann Weiss in Saga of Tanya the Evil) as Luders Friegen

 

Directing Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be Tomohisa Taguchi at Studio Pierrot, with Taguchi also writing the series composition, Masashi Kudo returning to design the characters, and Shiro Sagisu returning to do the music.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War begins on TV Tokyo on October 10 at 24:00, which is effectively 12 AM on October 11. Crunchyroll is streaming the original series in its entirety, describing it as such:

 

BLEACH follows the story of Ichigo Kurosaki. When Ichigo meets Rukia he finds his life is changed forever.
