Naruto & Sasuke Transform into Adorable Handmade Kokeshi Dolls

Culture Entertainment's e-commerce site "T Fan Site" has started accepting pre-orders for the deformed version kokeshi dolls of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Naruto TV anime's broadcast.

Kokeshi dolls have gone from being children's playthings to one of Japan's traditional handicrafts. These Naruto and Sasuke dolls are produced by "Usaburo no Mago Kokeshi," a popular workshop of creative kokeshi dolls based in Gunma Prefecture, and the wood used for their raw materials are mainly from Gunma's giant dogwood and chestnut trees.

These palm-size (75 mm-tall) dolls faithfully reproduce the two characters' hairstyles and costumes, including Naruto's forehead patch, Sasuke's sharanigan, and the Uchiha clan's family crest. The price for each doll is 4,620 yen (34.53 USD), and their scheduled shipping data is late October of 2022.
