On a sad day for the universe at large, Cover announced in a press release that hololive English -Council- member Tsukumo Sana will be graduating from VTuber activities on July 31. As with most graduations, hololive will be leaving up Sana's video after she goes inactive, with the channel memberships available for three months after July 31.Sana spoke about the news on her channel in a live stream.

Tsukumo Sana materialized on YouTube on August 23 as part of the second English generation of hololive VTuber, trying to throw earth out of orbit due to her massive size. Ultimately (and thankfully!) everyone lived and was able to enjoy a full year of activities from the manifestation of space.

In the press release, Cover said that "we had discussed several times with Tsukumo Sana regarding the direction of her activities, however, as time went on, it became difficult for her to continue her VTuber activities." Continuing on, "After much deliberation between both parties, with the deepest regrets, we have decided to honor her request for graduation." Cover confirmed that sales of her birthday merchandise will still be going ahead, though fans can cancel the item if they wish. Fan mail and presents will also be accepted until October 31.
